On 22 October, the Asian Development Bank announced US$100 million in financing to help Sri Lanka strengthen social protection and expand economic opportunities. The programme is intended to improve support for vulnerable households, employment and eldercare services, alongside improvements to programme delivery and monitoring. Public agencies and policy advisers can explore expenditure analytics, service-delivery dashboards and programme evaluation, while HPC can support secure data infrastructure.
