Jamaica Completes Southern Plains Irrigation Infrastructure Project

On 2 November, Jamaica, the United Kingdom and the Caribbean Development Bank marked completion of the Southern Plains Agricultural Development irrigation system, improving water access across 795 hectares in St. Catherine and Clarendon and benefiting more than 700 farmers. A separate final project cost was not disclosed in the announcement. HPC can support agricultural supply-chain research, procurement planning and logistics assessments.
